Pekanbaru, Indonesia – Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) has reaffirmed its commitment to internationalization by renewing its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perlis, Malaysia. The renewed partnership marks a significant milestone in expanding cross-border academic collaboration and strengthening institutional ties between the two universities, reflecting their shared vision of advancing higher education through innovation, research, and global engagement.

The MoU was signed by the rectors of both institutions during an official ceremony at Universitas Islam Riau. Building upon a long-standing partnership, the agreement establishes a broader framework for collaborative initiatives in education, research, community engagement, academic mobility, and institutional capacity building.
