Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) has once again opened opportunities for its top students to study abroad at Chiba University in Japan through a one-year student exchange program. The announcement was made by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rendi Prayuda, S.IP., M.Si, Head of the Office of International Cooperation and Affairs (BKUI) at UIR.

This fully funded exchange program covers accommodation, tuition fees, living allowance, airfare, visa, and insurance. To be eligible, students must be in at least their fourth semester and hold a valid TOEFL iBT or IELTS certificate.

“The program is open to all study programs, and we hope UIR students will seize this chance to experience the academic environment and excitement of studying in Japan,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rendi Prayuda.

Registration was open from January 20, 2025, to February 4, 2025, with applications submitted through an online link provided by the university. Students interested in more information were encouraged to contact the UIR Office of International Cooperation.
