Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) achieved an outstanding accomplishment by winning three first-place awards at the 2025 Diktisaintek Cooperation Awards (AKD) at the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region XVII, covering Riau and the Riau Islands. UIR was recognized as the Best University for International Cooperation, Best Industry Collaboration, and Best Government/NGO Cooperation.

The award certificates were officially received by the Rector of UIR from the Head of LLDIKTI Region XVII during the National Working Meeting held in Pekanbaru. The Head of the Office of Cooperation and International Affairs (BKUI) of UIR expressed gratitude and appreciation for this achievement, stating that it serves as strong motivation for UIR to compete at the national level and reflects the university’s consistent commitment to strengthening cooperation from year to year.
