Pekanbaru, Indonesia – Universitas Islam Riau (UIR), through its Office of International Affairs and Cooperation (BKUI), organized the High-Impact Cooperation and International Affairs Integration Workshop to strengthen institutional governance and advance the university’s internationalization strategy. The annual workshop brought together vice deans responsible for student affairs, alumni, cooperation, and Islamic outreach from all faculties, along with administrative staff serving as faculty cooperation officers. The program aimed to enhance coordination, improve administrative standards, and promote impactful collaboration across all levels of the university.
Held at the Senate Meeting Room on the second floor of the UIR Rectorate Building, the workshop focused on aligning institutional perspectives regarding the management, administration, and reporting of cooperation activities at the university, faculty, and study program levels. The initiative reflects UIR’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of governance while supporting the university’s continuous achievements in national cooperation awards and international recognition.
The workshop featured three comprehensive sessions covering strategic partnership management, international affairs governance, and the implementation of the Integrated Cooperation and International Administration System. Participants received practical guidance on developing collaborations that generate measurable academic impact, improve institutional quality, and contribute to university rankings. The discussions also emphasized the importance of standardized reporting, effective data management, and sustainable international partnerships as key components of a globally competitive university.
